Boulder Diagnostics Licenses Novel Rapid Detection Technology for Homocysteine and Related Compounds from Portland State University

The laboratory of Professor Robert Strongin has developed a highly specific dye technology that is licensed to Boulder Diagnostics for the detection of homocysteine and related compounds.  The CEO of Boulder Diagnostics, Wolfgang Pieken, calls calls Professor Strongin's discovery groundbreaking technology.  The new scientific advances made in Professor Strongin's research group will enable medical tests to help determine indicators for a variety of diseases, including cancer, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, cystic fibrosis, and HIV.
