Sean Larsen and Luis Saldanha, Mathematics and Statistics faculty, co-presented "Leveraging Teachers' Informal Understandings of Function for Conceiving Composition of Functions as Combining Transformations" at the 11th Conference on Research in Undergraduate Mathematics Education in San Diego, Feb. 28-March 1. Larsen also presented with students Joanna Bartlo and Elise Lockwood "Scaling Up Instructional Activities: Lessons Learned from a Collaboration between a Mathematician and Mathematics Education Researcher."
