PSU Friends of History commemorates the pioneering efforts of Portland Policewoman Lola Greene Baldwin with a free program by alumna and author Gloria Myers Tuesday, April 1, at 7 p.m. in 338 Smith Union. Baldwin was the first policewoman hired under civil service rules in a municipality in the United States.
