The PSU School of Extended Studies is co-sponsoring the Fifth Annual InnoTech Oregon, the region's premier business and technology conference and expo, April 16 and 17 at the Oregon Convention Center. Keynote speaker is Don Tapscott, best-selling author of
Wikinomics. Exhibit and conference sessions are free for PSU students, faculty, and staff. Discounts are available for a breakfast and all-day eMarketing summit.
Tapscott, chief executive at the international think tank New Paradigm, co-authored
Wikinomics: How Mass Collaboration Changes Everything. His visit, which is sponsored by PSU, will include a conference keynote address, a roundtable forum with Portland State students, and a luncheon with business, government, and education leaders.
Conference speakers and presenters include Rohit Bhargava, Ogilvy Public Relations; William Hurley, Open Source Strategy; Rick Pastore, CIO Executive Council; and Tony Ulwick, Strategyn. Software Association of Oregon is also a conference sponsor.
