Research Internship Program

Our Mission: The Center brings PSU fully into the public conversation and provides a direct link between the academic work done by faculty and the policy makers able to implement recommendations. NERC also helps to train the next generation of community leaders by providing graduate students from a variety of disciplines opportunities to work on the real world projects.

The Research Internship Program is designed for current PSU undergraduate or graduate students with the goal of being a leader in the Public and Private Sectors. The purpose of the internship program is to help students further their cultivate skills through a real-life work experience.

Students will have the opportunity to work across programs (national, local, policy) and learn many aspects of policy and economic research and workforce development. The research intern will assist with development of models and tools for analysis, data collection and data entry tasks, and production of research report. The research intern will be able to attend conferences and presentations.
