Research Assistant Program

NERC helps to train the next generation of community leaders by providing graduate students from a variety of disciplines with the opportunity to work on the real world projects.

The Research Assistant Program is designed for current PSU undergraduate or graduate students with the goal of being a leader in the Public and Private Sectors. The purpose of the research assistant program is to help students further their cultivate skills through a real-life work experience.

Students will have the opportunity to work across programs (national, local, policy) and learn many aspects of policy and economic research and workforce development. Research assistants will help with development of models and tools for analysis, data collection and data entry tasks, and production of research reports. In addition, assistants will attend conferences and presentations.
