The Portland State University Student Publications Board has announced that the position of PSU-TV manager has been reopened for candidates wishing to run the video publication for the 2013-2014 academic year.
The PSU-TV manager runs a streaming video documentary production publication. The job description for manager includes: Calls initial attention to meetings through listserv and presides over first group meeting of the week, coordinates with voting members to assemble yearly budget, works with producers, reporters, editors, and camera operators to generate quality video, and is one of two designated staff members assigned a key for equipment storage space to co-handle check-out/check-in forms for production teams, and tracking equipment.
Candidates for manager must be registered for at least 6 credit hours (5 for graduate students) and have a Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher (3.0 for graduate students) at the time they are hired and during their tenure as manager. Completed applications must be submitted by May 9, 2013, to Randall. Electronic submissions are preferred. The Student Publications Board will hire the manager after interviews to be conducted during the week of May 13.
