Congratulations class of 2014!
In addition to Commencement, the School of Business Administration hosts a Hooding Ceremony specifically for graduate business students.
At Hooding, graduates formally receive their hoods and are recognized by faculty, family and friends for their academic achievement. The dress code for students and guests is business casual. Each student will be called by name to walk across a stage. Through a symbolic gesture of honor, School of Business faculty and a Dean or Academic Director will participate by placing the hood (a large collar) over each student’s head, on top of their gown. There will be short speeches by a Dean or Academic Director, a keynote speaker, and a student speaker.
