Sherril Gelmon, Public Administration faculty, has been appointed to the Oregon Partnership for Alzheimer's Research (OPAR), which funds research proposals that advance the understanding, treatment, and prevention of Alzheimer’s disease. OPAR is funded by the Oregon Income Tax Check-off Alzheimer’s Research Fund. This program is intended for researchers in the early stage of their careers (pre- or post-doctoral) or for established researchers investigating promising new areas of research related to Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias.
