A former instructor at the Musicians Institute (Los Angeles) and the Berklee College of Music (Boston), Jeff has performed with many of the jazz world's celebrated artists, including the late bassistTeddy Kotick, famous father Ellis Marsalis, Fringe members Bob Gulotti and Rich Appleman, woodwind phenom Scott Robinson, esteemed author and clinician Jerry Coker, and neo-bop guitar master Joe Diorio. Since relocating to Portland in 1988, Jeff has worked with local legends Glen Moore, Rob Thomas, John Stowell, Dave Captein, and a host of others… in addition to teaching at Lewis & Clark College, directing middle school and high school jazz and symphonic bands, and initiating a successful high school guitar program in the Lake Oswego School District.
