Mr Schulte has appeared with Portland Opera, Portland Chamber Orchestra, Festival Chorale, Musical Theatre Company, Walla Walla Symphony, and has taught bass at Whitman College, Lewis and Clark College, Willamette University, Portland State University, Western Oregon University, Portland Community College,Clark College. He has appeared on record with Mel Brown and Western Rebellion, Andrew Hill, Jerry Hahn, Randy Porter, Christopher Woitach, Dan Balmer, Nancy King and New Orleans pianist Matt Lemmler, Cheryl Alex, Suzy Sern-Luna, Shirley Nannette, Alan Jones Sextet, Bert Wilson. Attended Banff Centre for the Arts and studied jazz bass there with Dave Holland. Also studied with Glen Moore, Michael Formanak, as well as classical bass wirth Larry Zgonc, Curtis Burris and Ken Baldwin.
