Event: Everyday Rhythm Ensemble

Thursday April 16, 2009 - June 4, 2009 Starts: 6:00pm

Instructor: Andy Sterling

Andy has been playing music since he was a toddler conducting the symphony in the park with a twig for a baton. He has studied percussion with a variety of Brazilian, Cuban and Ghanaian musicians including Jorge Alabe, Michael Spiro, Mark Lamson and others.  He is currently the drum section leader for the March Fourth Marching Band and was a co-director of the Lions of Batucada for several years. He has been teaching percussion for 8 years including classes at PSU, The Northwest Academy, Lewis and Clark College, The Drum Shop and more.

When: Thursdays, April 16th - June 4th, 2009
Where: Peter Stott Center, Small Gym
Time: 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Cost: $6.00 per class

*All Levels
*Drop-ins Welcome
*Some instruments provided. Please bring your own if possible.
