The Department of Music at PSU offers 13 degree options for both undergraduate and graduate students. The BA and BS degrees offer a broader liberal arts education, while the BM degrees offers a more music intensive track. Students pursuing a career in music education can adapt their degrees to prepare them for K-12 certification. Graduate students can earn a MM in Performance or Conducting. For educators looking for an advanced degree with more of an academic emphasis, the MA or MS in Teaching degrees are an option.
