Mechanical Engineering PE Review Course: Winter 2014
Class will be held on Tuesday Evenings, January 9 - March 20, 2014, 6:00 - 8:40 PM in Room 510 of the PSU Engineering Building, 1930 SW 4th Avenue, Portland, Oregon. The Engineering Building is at row H, column 10 of the campus map (PDF). Directions to the Engineering Building are available on a here.
The ME PE Review Course covers the following topics: review of exam, thermodynamics, cycle analysis, power plants, refrigeration, HVAC, combustion, fluid mechanics, hydraulics, turbomachinery, compressible flow, heat transfer, heat exchangers, force and stress analysis, dynamics, vibrations, machine design, control systems, and engineering economics.
The $450 fee covers eleven class meetings, and includes PE Exam sample questions and solutions. Course notes, problems and solutions will be for sale (location TBD)
This Professional Engineer Review Course grants 30 Professional Development Hours.
