Come with Me from Jerusalem (available in e-book format on Amazon and Smashwords) tells the story of Sami, the first Egyptian student in Israel, who falls in love with Lital, a Jewish classmate. Sami’s life is shattered when he finds himself arrested and tried for the murder of a Tel Aviv call girl. Only a miracle can save him from a certain life sentence. Sami and Lital, lovers from opposite sides of the conflict, are ideally placed to constitute a microcosm representing divergent views of the Arab-Jewish conflict and the desire to achieve genuine reconciliation.

Raised in Alexandria and educated in Montreal, Kamal Abdel-Malek is a novelist and a scholar who has taught at Princeton and Brown Universities. While at Brown, Abdel-Malek received the prestigious Wriston Fellowship for excellence in teaching and research. He now teaches literature at the American University in Dubai and is a member of the Cairo Atelier for Artists and Writers and recipient of the American University in Dubai 2013 award for outstanding literary achievements.
