REIL - Admission Requirements

**Because the REIL certificate is to be put on hiatus at the end of spring quarter, applications for the program are no longer being accepted.

REIL PLANNING FORM

Admissions Deadlines	The Department of Applied Linguistics has a rolling admissions policy for REIL-Certificate. Applications are accepted from PSU-admitted students. There is no application deadline. Before completing the REIL Certificate program application, please consult the REIL academic adviser, Nariyo Kono (nariyo@pdx.edu). Advising appointments for prospective students are available by phone or in person. Please check the faculty office hours page for more information.
Admission Requirements	1. Completed Admission to Portland State University 2. Non-native speakers of English must show a minimum English proficiency score of: TOEFL-iBT score = 80 TOEFL-PBT score = 550 IELTS = 7.0 International Students who hold a previous degree from an English-medium institution do not need to show an English test score.
Residency Requirements	Thirty credits required to fulfill the REIL Certificate must be completed at Portland State University, unless the residency requirement has already been met as a PSU undergraduate.
