Nora Wendl, Architecture faculty, has work featured in two exhibitions that opened April 3. The Steven Goldman Gallery at the Art Institute of Portland is showing “Attempts at Breaking into a Glass House,” an exhibition using and distorting architectural technologies of transparency in order to tell the story of the Mies van der Rohe-designed Farnsworth House from the perspective of its inhabitant, Dr. Edith Farnsworth. And Blue Sky Gallery is displaying the series “Attempts at Breaking into a Glass House,” selected for the 2014 Pacific NW Photography Viewing Drawers program.
