The Department of Applied Linguistics hosts two listserves:

Appling

Appling announcements concern the official business of the department, including notice of new classes, room changes, meetings, requests for tutors, teaching and research job announcements, guest speakers, etc.

Contact the Applied Linguistics office coordinator at linginfo@pdx.edu for help with posting a message on the Appling listserve.

Appling is monitored, and participation is limited to the Applied Linguistics and TESOL student and professional community.

 
Lingforum

Lingforum announcements concern the daily lives and scholarly interests of students.

Moving sales, SOAL announcements, appeal for help with Syntax problems, party invitations, long and passionate discussions of arcane topics in linguistics, bad jokes, cool new linguistics-related games and websites, job tips, and more, are all welcomed on Lingforum.

Lingforum is monitored. Participation is limited to current and former PSU Applied Linguistics students (and those who love them).
