Kathleen is a doctoral student in the Urban Studies program. Her interests focus on seniors' support systems, the effects of social interactions on well-being, and health impacts of social justice. For the past twelve years she has worked with the elderly in intensive case management. She has served as a graduate research and teaching assistant at the IOA, working closely with Dr. Margaret Neal. Kathleen is expected to advance to doctoral candidacy in Winter 2007. She teaches courses in mental health and aging and families and aging.
