Gretchen Luhr is doctoral student in Urban Studies at Portland State University, and her specializations include gerontology and research methods. Her research interests center around social networks and other social determinants of health and aging. She has a research background in health, and she has experience using both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. She is the Information Specialist for the Resource Center of the Oregon Geriatric Education Center that is housed in the Institute on Aging.
