Ann has been working with older adults both in long-term care settings and in government programs for over 10 years. She has served on the Public Policy Committee for the Oregon chapter of the Alzheimer's Association since 2002. Having studied speech communication for her master of science degree, she is particularly interested in issues concerning communication and identity as they relate to persons with dementia. This year she received the $1,000 Fred Annin "Passion for Seniors" scholarship awarded by the Oregon Health Care Foundation.
