Andree has led planning and community development programs for cities, counties and non-profits for the last 25 years. Her strengths lie in the areas of affordable housing, neighborhood development, commercial district revitalization and small city economic development. In 2006, she assisted Dr. Margaret Neal with research on the family and job challenges faced by aging construction workers. In 2007, she is teaching undergraduate courses in urban housing and development. Her forthcoming dissertation (Spring 2008) will be on the development of policies in Oregon related to the closure of mobile home parks, a housing form of choice for many seniors. In addition to her academic pursuits, Andree currently manages federal grant funds for affordable housing development for Washington County.
