Portland State of Mind: Labor and the Constellation of Resistance

WHAT
Labor and the Constellation of Resistance
This is the first of a discussion series through PSU Faculty Association to explore the relationship between organized labor and other social/political/environmental issues today. The focus of our conversation is the role of labor (real and potential) in the cascade of resistance movements across the globe in the last year.  More specifically, how unions (including PSUFA) could participate more meaningfully in these struggles.  What are the strengths and limitations of organized labor in the current constellation of movements?  Discussion Facilitators:  Ben Cushing, Sociology; Tag Khuri, International Studies; K.A. Lalsingh, Black Studies; David Osborn, University Studies.
