Collaborative Life Sciences Building opening June 26
The OHSU/OUS Collaborative Life Sciences Building (CLSB) will bring together Oregon Health & Science University, Oregon State University and Portland State University in one location to provide the best possible science education and research opportunities for students.
Portland State will expand its research programs in chemistry, biology and biochemistry into the new building with the benefit of three new research labs, three offices and six work stations. There will be more education space with 17 new teaching labs and a 406-seat lecture hall. Students from different health care professions will mingle in shared spaces, learn alongside each other, and work collaboratively through a variety of interprofessional education courses.
Faculty, staff, and students are invited to tour the building at an open house from 2-6 p.m. on Thursday, June 26.
