Celebrate Earth Week

Portland State University's 7th Annual Earth Day Festival, an entire week of speaker panels, workshops, film screenings, and hands-on activities exploring and celebrating the environment, will be held at PSU April 19 through 26. It will be one of the largest and most diverse Earth Day festivals in PSU history.

PSU's Earth Week event lineup includes:

Earth Day of Service
Saturday, April 19, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Organized by Student Leaders for Service, volunteers will work on outdoor projects on and around the Portland State campus. Register here.

Earth Day Festival
Tuesday, April 22, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A public festival in the South Park Blocks featuring a craft fair, costume contest, community organizations, e-bike demonstrations, and live music.

Free screening of the film "Glacial Balance"
Tuesday, April 22, 5 to 7 p.m.
Smith Student Union, room 296

The screening will be followed by a discussion with local glacier expert, geology professor Andrew Fountain.

"How Might the Developing World Help Reduce Climate Change?" presented by PSU economics professor Randy Bluffstone

Infusing Education with Indigenous Wisdom Workshops
