24-7 Hot Spot
The Portland State Library is so much more than a place to check out books. It has group study rooms, tutoring, 24-hour research help and loaner laptops at the ready.
Here's what you might be missing:
- The Sandbox is a new high-tech collaborative study area with touch-screen computers, wall-mounted LCD displays, movable furniture and lots of white boards.
- The newly renovated Family-Friendly Study Room has toys, books and DVDs to keep your little ones busy while you study.
- The Learning Center offers tutoring and academic coaching, all steps away from the stacks.
- Reference librarians are standing by to help in person, by phone, email, text, or 24-hour online chat.
- Borrow laptops for up to three hours and calculators for up to four hours at the Circulation Desk.
Even better: The Library is open till midnight most nights and 24 hours a day during Dead Week and Finals Week. For more details, go to library.pdx.edu.
