As part of our mission, IBPI develops curriculum and provides support for faculty who wish to integrate bicycle and pedestrian topics into their planning and engineering courses.
IBPI provides resources on bicycle and pedestrian topics for university faculty teaching transportation courses. We develop curriculum and course outlines, and facilitate dialogue among faculty members interested in these topics. In 2012, we launched a new faculty workshop focused on integrating bicycle and pedestrian topics into university transportation curriculum. This two-day event provides an opportunity to faculty to share ideas and approaches to teaching bicycle and pedestrian topics, learn about new and innovative practices and experience world-class facilities that they can share in the classroom.
