Tax-Deferred Investment (TDI) 403(b) Plan

The Tax Deferred Investment Plan (TDI) is a voluntary retirement savings plan for all OPU employees (except student employees) offering investment programs through two Fund Sponsors. You may only elect one of these Fund Sponsors.

Two-Step Enrollment Process

Step one
Complete the paper Salary Reduction Agreement (SRA) which lets PSU know the percentage of pay you wish to contribute from your paycheck and the Fund Sponsor of your choice. You may choose to have your deferral sent to either TDI:ous through Fidelity Investments or TDI:tiaa-cref through TIAA-CREF.

Be sure to designate the amount to come out of your pay by filling in the percentage. Dollar amounts are not acceptable. Sign the SRA and submit it to PSU-HR prior to the 10th of month in which you want your monthly deferral to start.

Step two
In this step you will select where you want your money invested. You may open your account with Fidelity NetBenefits, called TDI:ous, online or by calling 800.343.0860 Monday through Friday, 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) or with TIAA-CREF, called TDI:tiaa-cref, online or by calling 800.842.2888 Monday through Friday 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. or Saturdays 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. PST.
