PSU's Archaeology Roadshow comes to OMSI June 2, 2013

Do you have bones in your basement, artifacts in your attic, or fossils above your fireplace that you want to learn more about? Or are you just interested in learning more about archaeology? 

Join us for the Archaeology Roadshow at OMSI on June 2, sponsored by Portland State University’s Department of Anthropology. Experts from PSU and the community will be on hand from to tell you the story behind your artifacts. Please note: No financial appraisals will be given.

In addition to artifact identification, the Archaeology Roadshow features exhibits, demonstrations, info about local archaeology projects, and hands-on activities for adults and kids—including stone tool making and animal bone identification.

COST:
The 2013 Archaeology Roadshow is free and open to the public (OMSI admission not included).

BACKGROUND:
The Archaeology Roadshow is a cooperative effort created by students at Portland State University to inform and get the public involved in archaeology. Partners for this event include:
