What: Don and Mary Feller: Some reflections on Cuba, December 2011
Don and Mary were part of a USA State Department approved "People to People" visit of 19 US citizens. The goal of these visits is for the participants to make personal contact with the Cuban public via social programs in Cuba and senior citizen, elementary school and agricultural visits. They were also able to see historical sights of Cuba.
Mary Feller is a former public school educator in the field of comparative cultures of the world and has traveled much of the globe to distant and remote countries. Don has also traveled widely. His background is that of a public school counselor, a program administrator and a business owner.
The Retired Associates of Portland State University (RAPSU) is a membership organization for the adults who are 50 years old or older. Members share opportunities for intellectual, social, and personal growth in a university setting. Membership is open to all seniors; no association with PSU required.
