Profile: Political Pipeline
Women comprise over half the U.S. population, yet hold only a fraction of the seats in Congress and state legislatures. That's an imbalance professor Melody Rose is addressing with the programs NEW Leadership Oregon and Teens Lead, housed at PSU's Center for Women, Politics, and Policy. These programs, led by diverse women experts and leaders, offer public service leadership training for women in college and high school.
