Danielle McGurrin is an Assistant Professor of Criminology in the Division of Criminology and Criminal Justice. She earned her Ph.D. in Criminology from the University of South Florida and taught in the Department of Sociology and Criminology at Stonehill College in Massachusetts (2002-2007) before joining the CCJ Division in the fall of 2007.
Danielle has a broad academic interest in the oversight/enforcement practices and penalty assessments of U.S. regulatory agencies. Currently, she is researching OSHA's enforcement strategies and penalty assessments in the apparel industry. In the community, Danielle is offering the Division's first Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program course which brings together college and incarcerated students as peers in learning for an academic term.
