Jeff Cohen earned his Ph.D. in Criminology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2009. His primary area of research has been the intersections of gender and crime, with specific emphasis on masculinities. He is currently co-authoring a book on the criminalization of school bullying with a focus on the competing constructions of youth as violent, uncontrollable offenders and innocent victims in need of protection. Jeff serves on the Executive Board of the American Men's Studies Association and the Board of Directors of the Northwest Men's Project.
