Rob Milesnick is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Criminology and Criminal Justice Department of the Hatfield School of Government.
Rob earned his law degree from Syracuse University in 2002 and received his undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. He clerked for the Onondaga County District Attorney's Office, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office and worked as a drug and alcohol case manager for the Oregon Judicial Department's DUII Intensive Supervision Program.
Rob is active in the community, having served on the City of Portland's Independent Police Review (CRC) Committee and as an advisory board member to the City of Portland's Human Rights Commission. He was the Vice Chair of the Multnomah County Charter Review Committee and chair of the Committee's public safety work group. In 2008, he was nominated by Governor Ted Kulongoski and confirmed by the Oregon State Senate to serve on the Governor's Juvenile Justice Advisory Council. Rob is an attorney in private practice, practicing criminal defense, litigation, and family law.
