Background
Dr. Kinsella received his Ph.D. from Yale University. He has served as Editor of International Studies Perspectives (2005-2009) and president of the International Studies Association's Midwest Region. He has also taught at American University, the University of Missouri, and Yale, and was a Mershon postdoctoral fellow at Ohio State University.

Research Focus
Dr. Kinsella's research areas include the global arms trade, interstate conflict, and international law and ethics. He is currently examining the role illicit arms-transfer networks in world politics.
