Dale Hess (Ph.D. 1974, University of Oregon) is Adjunct Professor of Political Science. With the exception of a sojourn in Oregon politics, he has taught all his adult life: in both elementary and secondary public schools, and in both public and private colleges and universities at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels. He was involved in Oregon state government from 1983-1997 as a legislative assistant, agency lobbyist, and policy analyst. He regularly teaches courses in American government and politics, public policy, and political psychology.
