Background
Professor Wollner was educated at Portland State University (PSU) where he earned a
B. S. in History with minors in Literature and Political Science in 1966. He also took an M. A. in Modern European History at PSU in 1969. He received a Ph. D. in European and American Intellectual and Social History from the University of New Mexico in 1975.
