C3FM Survey - 2004 Inventory
of Public Financial Management Teaching Resources
We need your help!
A group of state and local government financial managers across the West has formed to explore the viability of cooperatively developing and delivering a public financial management curriculum to address the looming shortfall in public financial management talent. We are inviting schools of public affairs and public administration throughout the region to assist in this undertaking by profiling the public financial management curricula, content, teachers, and delivery venues that potentially might be shared across the region.
As part of this initiative, we have created a simple survey that should take you 5-10 minutes to complete. This online survey will be circulated to all heads of public affairs and administration departments in the region during October 2004. Responses are due November 15, 2004. Results will be available in January 2005. At that time we will mail you a link where the results will be summarized.
Your response is an important part of assembling a picture of what public financial management teaching resources are available across the region. In addition, your answers will help identify key issues and opportunities for creating and delivering a multi-state program in public financial management education.
Please contact George Beard (503 772 0222) if you have questions about this project or require assistance with this survey.
