Criteria for Program Admissions
The PA Division seeks students with a minimum 3.0 GPA in undergraduate coursework for regular admission for all applicants. The MPH program requires completion of an undergraduate course in statistics for admission; this is a core requirement across all tracks in the OMPH program. All PA graduate programs also require GRE scores, with the expectation that applicants offered admission will demonstrate a minimum combined verbal and quantitative score of 299 and a score of 4.5 on the analytic writing section of the exam. An applicant who does not qualify for regular admission based on GPA, GRE or other elements of the application, may be able to enroll as a non-degree/post-baccalaureate student, or be offered conditional admission. All students for whom English is not the first language must demonstrate language proficiency by a recent TOEFL score of 550. This requirement may be waived if the applicant has completed a graduate degree at an English language based university. Applicants should also review admissions criteria established by the Office of Graduate Studies.
