MBA Electives

Tailor your MBA degree.

After the foundation courses in the Portland State MBA, you will  continue to build expertise by taking 16 elective credits. Students can select electives of interest or choose to follow a suggestion of electives by area of focus. All MBA students may choose to take online or on campus electives, regardless of cohort. Students may also choose to study abroad as part of their elective credit requirement.

Please note: Though the entire MBA degree can be completed online, not all electives are offered online. Click here to see the online electives schedule for next year.

    * The Finance option is noted on a student's diploma as an MBA in Finance degree. Other concentrations are not noted on the diploma, but many students choose to specify an area of focus on their resume.
