International Finance and Management - Marseille, France

The PSU School of Business Administration offers the Summer Business in Europe Program in Marseille, France, in cooperation with the Euromed-Marseille Graduate School of Business, Marseille-Provence. This graduate program gives students a unique opportunity to experience European business culture and practices first-hand. Students take two courses (8 credits total) in an intensive three-week summer study abroad program.

During the trip, Dr. Taylor will team teach the International Management course with Euromed faculty members who have extensive industry experience and specialize in doing business in Europe and the Mediterranean area. The International Finance course will be taught by Dr. Laurent Estachy of Euromed.  

As the oldest city in France, Marseille is located on the south coast at the center of the French Riviera. Built at the mouth of the Rhone River on the Mediterranean Sea, this city has been central to international trade for over 26 centuries. Its rich history and prime location make it an exciting place to spend part of the summer and the ideal place to experience international business at its European roots.

In addition to the classroom work, this program includes company visits and regional activities incorporating historical and cultural aspects of southern France. Friday afternoons and weekends are free for independent travel.
