The Northwest Economic Research Center's new report, “Carbon Tax and Shift: How to Make It Work for Oregon's Economy” reveals that a statewide carbon tax and shift policy could generate annual revenues of $1 billion or more for Oregon while also shrinking income and business taxes and significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
British Columbia enacted a similar tax in 2008, hear from a top official about economic and environmental results.
