Named after one of Oregon's first philanthropists, the Simon Benson Award was created in 1999 to honor the region's contemporary pioneers of philanthropy.

The annual Simon Benson Awards Dinner offers an opportunity for the community to publicly honor these invaluable citizens with a gala awards ceremony.
