Contributions to support students, faculty, academic programs, research, facilities, and community partnerships totaled $21.4 million.

People like you make it happen.

Nearly 9,500 individuals--alumni, parents, friends, faculty and staff--made gifts last year. Hundreds of businesses, foundations and civic organizations contributed also.

2007-2008 giving highlights:

• PSU students received over $1.7 million in scholarships from funds contributed by generous donors.
• Portland State's annual fund reached its highest level ever, raising over $1.14 million.
• External funding for faculty research totaled $39 million, including over $3.4 million in private grants.
• Online contributions increased over 284 percent.
• The number of donors contributing through the Telefund grew by 16.7 percent.
• The PSU Foundation's permanent endowment grew to over $38.6 million.
