GIS data on the PSU Windows Network I: drive

There is a huge collection of GIS data on the I: drive. The I: drive is automatically mapped on workstations joined to the PSU domain. You can go to the I: drive and navigate to the I:\Students\Data\GIS fold to access the data directly from your GIS software. Some commonly used dataset are:

  • SimplyMap - Web-based Demographic, Business, and Marketing GIS
  • Metro RLIS lite (2000 to current, published quarterly)
  • Metro RLIS 2006 6 inches aerial photography
  • ESRI Streetmap USA
  • Oregon DEM (10 and 80 meters resolution)
  • Portland 2002 4 ft aerial photography
  • US MRLC 2001 landcover
