Martha Hickey (1992) Ph.D.
Dr. Martha Hickey received her Ph.D. in Slavic languages and literatures from Harvard University. She has published on topics related to 20th-century Russian literature and the study The Writer in Petrograd and the House of Arts on the emerging voices and themes of post-revolutionary Russia and the writers, artists and literary theorists who gathered in St. Petersburg (Petrograd) from 1919 to 1922. She teaches language and literature courses in Russian and courses in English on 20th-century Russian narrative, film and culture. She is also Secretary to the PSU faculty and on the Board of the Portland-Khabarovsk Sister-City Association.
