Welcome to the Fine and Performing Arts Advising site. Undergraduate Advising in the Fine and Performing Arts (FPA) at Portland State University is an important resource in assisting you with attaining your degree. Marie Fiorillo and Jessica Mardis are the undergraduate advisers for FPA.
FPA Advisers are here to assist you with degree requirements, questions, and concerns. PSU has a lot of great resources. If you are not sure where to find a resource on campus, just ask. We can point you in the right direction.
Drop In Advising is for current students (including co-admits) and prospective students, for quick questions only. /// Maximum 15 minutes.
FPA Undergraduate Student Advisors
Appointments are for current students and new post-bacc students. New students (non-post bac) must first complete PSU Orientation. Appointments are for academic planning, DARS issues, transfer course issues, VA relating academic advising, and other in-depth questions. All other times by appointment only. Times are subject to change due to Orientation Days, meetings, etc. Changes will be posted on the Webpage. Please see your assigned Adviser. If you do not have an assigned Adviser, please contact either Jessica or Marie to find out the name of your assigned Adviser. Once you have seen an Adviser, you will need to stay with that Adviser until you enter the upper division part of your program. However, we still encourage you to meet with an FPA Adviser at least once a year to double check your overall degree requirements.
For Appointments please send an email to either FPA Advisor that includes your First and Last names, PSU ID number, Type of degree (BA, BS, BFA, or BM), and your major.
