Portland State University leases space for food carts across the university campus. Food carts contribute to a vibrant campus environment and provide diverse dining options to University District residents, students, employees, and visitors.

Food Cart Locations on the PSU Campus
At the southwest corner of SW Fifth Avenue and SW Harrison Street, this covered location includes space for multiple food carts. The location is adjacent to a transit mall bus stop and the PSU Academic and Student Recreation Center. Lease rates vary according to cart size. Electricity is included in the lease rate. Parking spaces in this building can be reserved for support vehicles or storage use for an additional fee.
At the southeast corner of SW Sixth Avenue and SW Hall Street, this location includes space for one food cart. The location is at the base of the Ondine residence hall, with 340 housing units. While on PSU property, this location serves sidewalk traffic directly. Lease rates vary according to cart size. Parking spaces in nearby PSU structures can be reserved for support vehicles or storage for an additional fee.
North of the PSU Millar Library, this location includes space for multiple food carts. Two residence halls north of the location feature 193 housing units. Lease rates vary according to cart size. Parking spaces in nearby PSU structures can be reserved for support vehicles or storage use for an additional fee.
Additional locations may be available, but must be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. There may also be opportunities for retail carts on the PSU campus.
