What does it mean to be in "good standing"?
To be in "good standing", you must have a minimum PSU cumulative GPA of a 2.00. If you have attempted 12 or more credit hours, and your GPA falls below a 2.00, you will be placed on academic warning. When you are placed on academic warning a registration hold is placed on your PSU records and you will need to attend an Academic Warning Workshop in order to have the hold lifted. If in the next term of enrollment, you do not achieve at least a 2.25 GPA for the term or raise your cumulative PSU GPA to a 2.00, you will then be placed on academic probation. At this time, if you do not achieve a 2.25 GPA for the term or raise your PSU cumulative GPA to a 2.00, you will be academically dismissed.
