Within the ASPSU, there are Standing Committees, Ad Hoc Committees, and Task Forces. Their function is to make recommendations to the Student Senate and implement actions that effect students. Standing Committees are defined by the Constitution and have chairpersons nominated by the President. These include the Student Fee Committee, the Elections Committee, and the Building Fee Committee. Ad Hoc Committees and Task Forces are created by the President to achieve the goals of the ASPSU.
